Action on the Ground Grant

This grant is designed to give active groups of any size or status the resources to make meaningful change within their communities and/or environment. Examples include litter pick days and community picnics.

Application

This is for any group, organisation or community group and application is very simple. You should approach one of the Project Officers at the RiverLife office to arrange a time to talk to them about what you’d like to do and how the grant will help achieve this. The project officer will then note this down and may make some suggestions. They will then ask another member of the team to approve the project for a grant.

Reporting

There is a simple reporting form comprising of approx. 10 questions relating to number of people involved, any quotes from the activity and your reflections of the activity, this needs to be submitted within 6 weeks of the activity concluding. This should be sent to the same project officer you spoke to during application and sent along with some photos. We would also love some social media interaction such as a tweet or a post on Facebook.

Delivery

You should use your awarded grant within 6 weeks of the grant being released, although this can be flexible if you let us know. We would like you to share some photos of your activity on social media with us, so please take some photos.
